You may know the words in your language but you want to know the meaning of which you needed to know in other language,here is some tips,it may helpful for you.By this steps you can know words from any language,just you needed to know your tongue well ,
Step 1 :- Go to Google Translate

Step 2 :- In left hand side choose your mother tongue(language), i am choosing my language(tamil)
Step 3 :- Then type the word in your own language which you need to know from other language
Step 4 :- Once you type the word below you can see the words in your own language Click that word
then you can see the word right hand side which you need to know from other language,
you can easily understand from the two below picture
Ex :- i am typing in my own language in English " kolaveri"
